The most talked about DDA flats Scheme 2014



DDA commenced its housing activities in 1967 and has played a crucial role in providing more than a million houses to the people of Delhi. DDA has been constructing houses in Delhi, according to the requirements and purchasing capacity of different strata of society.


To all those seeking an urge to own a house a permanent house in Delhi can now come true with DDAFlat Scheme 2014, the biggest housing scheme announced by Delhi Development Authority by providing more than 25,000 residential flats. Flats allotted by the DDA are provided with essential services like electricity, water and sewage disposal, besides other infrastructural facilities required to make them habitable. Till Jan 2013, DDA has announced 44 housing registration schemes for the benefit of the people and allotment of houses has been made to registrants of all 44 schemes out of above housing scheme i.e. DDA Housing Scheme-2010 is alive as on day Jan, 2013.


This housing scheme’s registration started from 1st September 2014 and was supposed give the draw results in the following month of October. There are five types of DDA flats offered in varying sizes in a particular number of units. The majority of the DDA flats in New Delhi India made available are 1 Bedroom LIG flats which are offered in excess of 22,500 units. The decision, thus, has been taken keeping in view the stature and class of people.  Also, other range of apartments available are EWS flats, 2 BHK or MIG apartments and 3 BHK or HIG apartments to cater to the need of another class of people.
DDA flats 2014 Housing Scheme draw of lots finally took place today at  Vikas Sadan . Although the process was a long one the results have been announced within few hours of the process. This has been one of the most looked forward project and the draw of lots was highly anticipated.
